Giant Wild Goose Pagoda or Big Wild Goose Pagoda (chinese: 大雁塔)is a Buddhist pagoda located in southern Xi'anShaanxi province, China. It was built in 652 during the Tang Dynasty and originally had five stories, although the structure was rebuilt in 704 during the reign of Empress Wu Zetian and its exterior brick facade was renovated during the Ming Dynasty. One of the pagoda's many functions was to hold sutras and figurines of the Buddha that were brought to China from India by the Buddhist translator and traveler Xuanzang.
This is the 大雁塔樓,I have change come colour to make it more beautiful and add some pattern to make it more traditional . And I colour the board into green colour to make it is on the grass.

tulou is a traditional communal residence found in Fujian Province South China ,Although most tulou were of earthen construction some were constructed out of cut granite or had substantial walls of fired brick. Most large-scale tulou seen today were built of a composite of earth, sand, and lime known as sanhetu rather than just earth. The tulou is often three to four stories high. Often they would store food on the higher floors.
The tulou is made because China people use the tulou to face the Americans during the cold war.
The noted Fujian Tulou, designated as UNESCO World Heritage site in 2008, there are more than 20,000 tulou in southern Fujian. Approximately 3,000 of them are Fujian Tulou.

This is my work, it is very bad, because I don't know how to make the roof and it is too heavy for the base, so the middle part is like a hamburger meat but squashed.the painting is bad too, although I tried my best I still can't do it. I hope I can make a better one next time.

The Great Wall of China is a series of fortifications made of stone, brick, tamped earth, wood, and other materials, generally built along an east-to-west line across the historical northern borders of China to protect the Chinese states and empires against the raids and invasions of the various nomadic groups of the Eurasian Steppe. Several walls were being built as early as the 7th century these, later joined together and made bigger and stronger, are now collectively referred to as the Great Wall.Especially famous is the wall built 220–206 bc by Qin Shihuang, the First Emperor of China. Little of that wall remains. Since then, the Great Wall has on and off been rebuilt, maintained, and enhanced; the majority of the existing wall is from the Ming Dynasty.Other purposes of the Great Wall have included border controls, allowing the imposition of duties on goods transported along the Silk Road, regulation or encouragement of trade and the control of immigration and emigration. Furthermore, the defensive characteristics of the Great Wall were enhanced by the construction of watch towers, troop barracks, garrison stations, signaling capabilities through the means of smoke or fire, and the fact that the path of the Great Wall also served as a transportation corridor.

The Summer Palace is located in Beijing, China. In the Summer Palace, you can find a variety of palaces, garden, and other classical-style architectural structures. The Summer Palace is mainly dominated by Longevity Hill and the Kunming Lake. Longevity Hill is about 60 meters (200 feet) high and has many buildings positioned in sequence. The front hill is rich with splendid halls and pavilions, while the black hill, in sharp contrast, is quiet with natural beauty.

The central Kunming Lake covering 2.2 square kilometers (540 acres) was entirely man-made and the excavated soil was used to build Longevity Hill.

In December 1998, UNESCO included the Summer Palace on its World Heritage List. It declared the Summer Palace” A masterpiece of Chinese landscape garden design”

History

In 1888, it was given the current name, Yihe Yuan. It served as a summer resort for Empress Dowager Cixi.

Forbidden City, Beijing

Forbidden City, also known as the Imperial Palace Museum, is a magnificent building complex located in the very heart of Beijing. As the symbol of imperial power, which was built in Yongle Period, Ming Dynasty (1406 - 1420 AD), it is the largest and well-preserved wooden building complex of the world. These were laid out very precisely in accordance with a feudal code of architectural hierarchy which designated specific features for reflecting the paramount authority and status of the emperor.

Forbidden City can be taken as a sample of the traditional Chinese palatial architecture. In 1987, it became a World Heritage Site. Besides, it is also listed by UNESCO (The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) as the largest collection of preserved ancient wooden structures in the world.

Chinese architecture refers to a style of architecture that has taken shape in East Asia over many centuries. The structural principles of Chinese architecture have remained largely unchanged, the main changes being only the decorative details. Since the Tang Dynasty, Chinese architecture has had a major influence on the architectural styles of Korea, Vietnam, and Japan.

Throughout the 20th Century, Western-trained Chinese architects have attempted to combine traditional Chinese designs into modern architecture (usually government), with only limited success. Moreover, the pressure for urban development throughout contemporary China required higher speed of construction and higher floor area ratio, which means that in the great cities the demand for traditional Chinese buildings, which are normally less than 3 levels, has declined in favor of modern architecture. However, the traditional skills of Chinese architecture, including major and minor carpentry, masonry, and stonemasonry, are still applied to the construction of vernacular architecture in the vast rural area in China.
